AOA All:

Guess what- Dow Docs 1985 has it's own Blog. You can put up and put in everything that concerns 1985 collectively or individually. I only ask for civility. Lets all act like adults. Unlike listserv, this would have more space and much broader scope. The after effects would hovere not be allowed to spill over onto the listserv. The aim is to create a virtual recreation of the class of 1985. Some music, some poetry, and other thangs. So Wamique (in the photo to the left) would not be upset at private posts for he would have to come down to the Blog site to find any posting and no posting from here would come to his personal mail.

MashaAllah ST has had his surgery and has now left for Chicago from St. Louis. There he would stay with his family for a couple of days and would then depart for Pakistan. He has asked for everyone's prayers and let's all pray that this surgery was extremely successful and that ST is completely recovered inshaAllah.

Also, a small bunch of us got together at Khalid Mazhar's place, including Shahla Hussain, her daughter and Salahudding with family.

Apparently Shehla and Salahuddin also visited the famour bar "Cheers" with their respective families but because of the sharaii difficulties I am not able to put up a photograph of a bar.

Not much else is happening with the D85s these days. I hope that once ST returns back to Pakistanj, there would be some get togethers and we would get some phots from Pakistan. You all are welcome to put a response to this mailing as I learn the blogging business like Millions on the net. Blogging is indeed a very powerful tool, that must be used prudently.

Oh, please remember the father of one of D85s in your prayers as well. He has not been well for sometime and the colleague of ours is understandably concerned. We want to let this colleague know that we all remember her and her family in our prayers.

Kadir Mian, AOA:

Yes there are four million other bloggers just like there are more than 4 million cars yet we all have cars because of the need. So a need has to be identified. The point of this exercise is to see how it works and the challenge for me would be to make it interesting and useful.

Many thanks for checking it out.

Nadeem Sahib,

Thank you for your acknowledgement. No one else seems to be interested at the moment, but you are a patient person and eventually people will start looking. When people make coments, it will be interesting to see. Anyway, how is life? You are pretty much wrapped up in charity work. Hope your hard work get some results.

Regards,
Kadir.
